Lush’s Commitment to Change: Celebrating £100 Million in Grassroots Support

Tracks attended an inspiring evening in November celebrating an incredible milestone with the amazing partners and allies at Lush!

It was a privilege to hear thought-provoking talks from Mark Constantine, Chris Packham, and Caroline Lucas, who passionately championed the vital role of small grassroots campaigning groups. The energy and dedication of fellow activists striving for a better world for animals, people, and the environment was truly motivating.

Since 2007, Lush has donated an astonishing £100 million to grassroots groups through 19,000 grants—a monumental contribution empowering countless organisations to make meaningful change for animals, people, and the environment.

For Tracks Investigations, Lush’s support has been nothing short of transformative. Over the past 12 years, we’ve been fortunate to receive several grants, including the prestigious Annual Award—a significant honour that recognized the impact of our work. Most recently, just a couple of weeks ago, we were thrilled to receive another round of funding, further strengthening our ability to uncover injustices and advocate for animals.

But Lush’s commitment extends far beyond financial support. They’ve amplified our mission by providing opportunities to share our work through podcasts, talks with their staff, and participation in their Animal Testing conferences. Their unwavering belief in Tracks and in the power of grassroots activism has been a tremendous source of encouragement.

As Chris Packham so eloquently put it, you don’t have to love glittery bath bombs to recognize the immense good that Lush continues to do. Their dedication to driving positive change and championing small campaigning groups remains an extraordinary example of corporate responsibility in action.

Thank you, Lush, for your steadfast support and for standing with those striving to create a better world for all beings.
